Norwich Union Healthcare is to expand its employee benefit cover with the addition of three new products to its flexible package.
Policyholders who have flexible benefits schemes through their employers will now have the choice to opt for any or all of private medical insurance, group income protection and group life. The products will be available to people covered by schemes which also cover around 250 members of staff.
Nick Homer, senior proposition development manager for Norwich Union, said: "Flexible benefits plans are becoming an increasingly popular means of engaging employees and providing them with a tailored choice to suit their life-style."
He commented that the flexibility of the products would allow employees to choose from a variety of products depending on their circumstances. Also, that the schemes could help employers manage the overall cost of the benefits package, while continuing to give necessary cover that could help manage absence costs.
