Aegon launches jargon-busting investment pack

A new jargon-busting information pack that aims to inform people more about investments is now available from Aegon Scottish Equitable .

The investments pack is free and contains 13 client facing information leaflets and five adviser facing sales aids. The client sheets cover a variety of topics such as explaining investment terms, information on risk and inflation, as well as the ins and outs of investor and property bonds and tax . Aegon products will not be referred to in any of the information that is provided.

Kevin Brown, spokesman for Aegon, said that within days of the launch, there had been more than 100 requests from IFAs for the packs.

He said: "We have been overwhelmed by the interest. These packs are aimed at everyone with an interest in investing, not just first time investors but for people who are looking at developing their investment portfolio at different stages of their life."
